Earth Friendly Products Hand Soap – Product Review

Review by Michael Smith (Veshengro)

9664_HandSoapLemongrass_webI first encountered Earth Friendly Products in person, so to speak, though having heard of them before via other sources, at the Natural & Organic Products Europe show in 2012 and I took with me a sample bottle of 118ml (4 fl oz) of the soap.

This bottle of soap is still going strong to this day, now a year later, but I have to admit that it rests in the kitchen and is used but occasionally, as I normally do not wash my hands in the kitchen sink.

This hand soap with organic Lemongrass is a blend of coconut-based soap, grapefruit seed extract and lemongrass essential oil, an is a non-drying formula that cleans and softens the hand.

It is free of formaldehyde, petrochemicals, GMOs, phosphates, chlorine and ammonia and is biodegradable and ph neutral. It also contains no 1,4-dioxane like so many other supposedly eco-friendly brands of soaps and cleaning products do.

The full size bottle is 500ml and retails at £3.90 in the UK.

Earth Friendly Products is based in the USA and all products are manufactured at sites in that country.

Earth Friendly Products make and sell a large range of truly eco-friendly cleaning products. Check them out of www.ecos.som. In the UK go to www.greenbrands.co.uk for the Earth Friendly Products range.

Verdict: Great only just about about sums it up. I love especially that, unlike others, the products are all free of 1,4-dioxane. Other makers refuse to remove it despite international concerns about the substance.
